We will meet at 9:00 A.M. at the Sinclair gas station at 304 U.S. highway 189, Kemmerer, Wyoming, it’s approximately two hours from Logan. We will leave the Sinclair at 9:30 A.M. and drive about half an hour to the dig site. Directions from the Sinclair to fossil lake: drive north on HWY 189, left on HWY 233 left on Dempsy road, left on farm field road, slight right on farm field road to the quarry on the left. GPS coordinates: 41 52’06.99″north 110 40’42.00″west.
Our dig time is from 10.00 A.M. to 1.00 P.M. cost to get in if we have enough for the discount, adults 17+ $88.00, kids age 7-16 $56.00, under 6 free, if we don’t have enough adults $109.00, kids $69.00, we will pay when we get to the quarry. All tools and training are provided by the quarry staff. Bring lots of water, lunch, munchies, chair, umbrella, hat, sunglasses, storage tote and some towels to protect your specimens.
